My name is Sophie Glasgow and I'm a portrait photographer based in Kansas. Now booking photoshoots in Wichita, Kansas City, Manhattan, and Lawerence, Kansas.

Doing my first senior shoot of the next graduating class is always so exciting. It’s the start of a new season and marks the start of getting to photograph a new batch of young people excited for what’s ahead. My first 2026 senior was Trista, and here’s our shoot!

We started off at Itzcali, a tapas restaurant in Wichita that has a super cool textured wall on the side of its building. It makes a nice neutral background and the pattern adds a little bit of interest.

Trista wore this super cute hot pink ruffle top with matching heels and blue jeans. I think a fun statement top is a must for senior photos.

Next we headed to Traditions in College Hill, which is always a favorite with my senior clients. The area around the store has some really cool rustic looking walls covered in vines.

Trista wore a ruffled yellow dress, which was super cute, but admittedly hard to edit. I tend to take down the yellows quite a bit in my preset, so I had to do a little extra work to keep a little bit of the color intact.

We finished up at Bramble’s Edge Farm located in Rosehill, Kansas. It’s about a 30 minute drive from Wichita, but it is so worth the trip. People can pay to reserve a spot for 30 minutes in which they can use to shoot in the multiple flower fields and prop set ups.

Bramble’s Edge has easily been my most popular location with seniors this year. The flower fields never disappoint and the owners do such a good job maintaining the area and they’re always add new props and set ups for photographers.

What a great start to the 2026 Senior Season!
