One of my friends was turning 30 in July, and she wanted to do a fun photoshoot to celebrate the occasion, so naturally we had to create something awesome. We went to a natural light studio in Downtown Wichita, Kansas called The Lumeneir. The studio has a cyc wall which is literally the best thing ever. It’s a curved seamless wall, so it creates the perfect blank slate background for studio photography. The studio also has some cool windows on the West side of the building which make some super cool shadows that are so fun to get creative with.

Hayley wanted to include a few different fun props for her session, including a vintage phone, a newspaper, some balloons, and a cake with candles.

Hayley wore a white mini dress and these amazing pink heels with a silver bow detail. Her outfit felt perfect for a birthday photoshoot.

It was also fun to experiment with my flash a little since that’s a newer piece of equipment in my camera bag.

We went ahead and decided to do an outfit change and just go with some simple blue jeans and a white tank top.

It was so fun to get creative and work with Hayley on this photoshoot. I love doing studio sessions because it brings a new challenge to photoshoots!
