My dear friend Selena turned 25 in June so naturally we had a to plan a photoshoot to mark the occasion. Our vision for her birthday shoot was a berries and cream picnic moment with a fun homemade cake and a floofy princess dress. And I think we kinda nailed it.
During our birthday cake picnic photoshoot, it was like literally 100 degrees while we were shooting so tragically the cake was not holding up like planned. Almost as soon as we stepped outside, cherries started falling off and frosting started to melt. So we definitely had to work fast to get the shots we wanted.
By the time the photoshoot was done, the cake was a melty mess and the berries had been infiltrated by ants, so we kinda just wrapped everything in the blanket and tossed it in the trash. Really a shame, because the cake probably would have been delicious.
