Chris and Sarah’s engagement session marked my first photoshoot of 2026 (and my first KC client that wasn’t a friend lol)! Due to the crappiness of February’s weather, we found it best to opt for an indoor location. We liked the idea of a coffee shop, and Sarah offered her apartment lounge area as an option, and it turned out perfect!

We had all sorts of props to create a super sweet and cozy vibe, including coffee and tea (of course), a yummy cinnamon roll (which did not make it to the end of the shoot lol) and Bananagrams!

Their whole gallery gives off such cozy and intimate vibes, I am so happy with the result.

They did two outfits, a slightly nicer one and a more casual one to switch up the vibe a little. I think it’s so fun to get creative and play around a little with couple photos, so I always recommend opting for a couple outfits.

This is another great example for what I tell clients – your photoshoot can be whatever you want it to be. We can get creative with locations, props, outfits, and do whatever we need to, to fit the vibe!
